Dr. Berg Reveals the Best Remedy for Morton's Neuroma
Morton’s Neuroma is a condition where a nerve in the front part of the foot becomes compressed and inflamed, leading to pain and sensitivity between the toes.
It most often develops in the area between the third and fourth toes and can create sensations such as burning, tingling, numbness or the feeling of stepping on a small object.
In this video, Dr. Berg explains what causes this painful nerve condition and reveals his recommended natural remedy (no drugs and surgery) to help reduce discomfort, inflammation and pressure on the affected area.
Dr. Berg Explanation of Morton’s Neuroma
Dr. Berg explains that a Morton’s Neuroma is a build-up of fibrous scar tissue that surrounds a nerve in the foot, often between the metatarsal bones.
This can make walking extremely painful and may feel worse with movement or pressure on the foot. While the exact cause is unclear, he believes it is often linked to an old injury.
The Acupressure Technique
According to Dr. Berg, one of the best ways to reduce the pain naturally is through a specific acupressure technique performed on the opposite foot.
Instead of pressing directly on the painful area, he recommends applying gentle pressure to the mirrored location on the opposite foot.
He explains that this area is often surprisingly tender and that stimulating it may help interrupt pain signals travelling through the nervous system.
To perform the technique
- Locate the painful area on the affected foot.
- Then find the matching spot on the opposite foot.
- Apply light pressure and slowly massage the area while looking for the most sensitive point. Dr. Berg suggests continuing until the pain level gradually decreases.
- If the pain shifts location, move your finger to the mirrored point that matches the new pain area.
He says the goal is to “find the point of the most pain” and gently massage that area while monitoring how the discomfort changes. As he describes it, “you’re actually sending a signal up to the brain to turn these pain signals off.”
He advises repeating the process daily, starting gently at first, as the area may feel sore afterward. While this method may not remove the neuroma itself, he says it can significantly reduce or eliminate the pain without medication or surgery.
Dr. Berg says that it’s “the only technique that I know that’ll knock the pain out better than any drug or surgery without the side effects.”

Morton’s Neuroma can be a frustrating and painful condition that affects everyday movement and quality of life.
While traditional treatments often involve medication, injections, or surgery, Dr. Berg offers an alternative approach focused on relieving pain naturally through targeted acupressure.
Although results may vary from person to person, this simple technique may provide relief for those looking for a more natural way to manage neuroma pain.
